Tarawih Day 5
I can't find the best word to describe how grateful I'm to be able to complete Juz 5 except to say 'Alhamdulillah'
May Allah bless all my 'Tadarrus mates'*...the Imam and others who helps to improve my recitation..
*same meaning like housemates, coursemates..etc...=)Here are some of the verses in Juz 5 that inspired me. Will try to memorize it
*Don't forget to have your Quran as you read it, so that you may have a better understanding. InsyaAllah.
1. (An-nisa: 48 & 116) : Please don't ever do this in life (Shirk), it's an unforgivable sins. Allah has mentioned this tremendous sins twice at two different location under the same surah. Please read this article to understand better what is means by being Shirk. [Link]

Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him,
but He forgives what is less than that for
whom He wills.
And he who associates others with Allah
has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.
(An-nisa:48)
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him,
but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills.
And he who associates others with
Allah has certainly gone far astray."
(An-nisa:116)

(An-nisa:116)
2. (An-nisa: 82). Quran is the Truth coming from Allah. This incredible verse states that there are no inconsistencies, contradictions, or conflicting statements in the Quran. If the Quran is made up from human, we would surely found a huge contradiction/inconsistencies in it.
"Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an?
If it had been from [any] other than Allah ,
they would have found within it much contradiction"
(An-nisa': 82)
If it had been from [any] other than Allah ,
they would have found within it much contradiction"
(An-nisa': 82)
3. (An-nisa:78) No one shall ever escape death, who can say that he/she will not die?? When i read this verse during taddarus, i just recite this dua in my heart 'Ya Allah, i want to die as muslim'...ameen....
*a good dua' for us : "Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims." [Al-A'raf,7:126]
*a good dua' for us : "Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims." [Al-A'raf,7:126]
"Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you
even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!...."
(An-nisa': 78)
even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!...."
(An-nisa': 78)
4. (An-Nisa':86) Returning the Salam with a better Salam. There's a beautiful story on how the prophet explain this verse to his companions, He's a great Teacher!
"When you are greeted with a greeting,
greet in return with what is better than it,
or (at least) return it equally"
(An-nisa': 86)
as-Salamu-Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
(peace, mercy and blessings be upon you) ~ Meow...=)
Looking forward to continue to read & understand surah An-nisa & Al-Maidah (The table spread) in Juz' 6.
Ameen...

This 5th Juz of Quran consist only surah An-nisa. But in this verse i've found such a great reminder about death (78), Quran is the word of Allah (82), unforgivable sins (48, 116), and wonderful advice regarding greeting in Islam (86).
Looking forward to continue to read & understand surah An-nisa & Al-Maidah (The table spread) in Juz' 6.
Ameen...
